This script enhances your AWS Console experience by automatically redirecting you from a service's generic home/dashboard page to a more useful, pre-configured default page. For example, instead of landing on the EC2 Dashboard, you can be taken directly to the Instances list. Or go straight to the Databases list for RDS.
The script is fully configurable and intelligently handles AWS's Single-Page Application (SPA) navigation, meaning it works even when you navigate between services without a full page reload.
