Doesn't it suck that chatgpt saves all your history unless you don't send it. There is no draft system in chatgpt.

This userscript will make it so you can dig for it in localStorage if you really need it.

This saves any drafts you write to localStorage['draft-'-id] where id is the unix timestamp of when you started writing the prompt.

Also if you delete a large portion of text and start writing again it will be saved to a new bucket, ensuring all versions of a prompt are saved.
