update to bump version number after formatting mess up was fixed

Restoring previous version that uses 'nice' function that handled AJAX changes to the page, since the standalone version checking wasn't robust enough even with hacks to make it run often.

Call the changing function many times to ensure it hits right element when elements are loading and a seemingly phantom bar is present and gets styled instead of the real one that replaces it a moment later.

Trigger the changes more than once in case first time didn't work.

Remove use of external libs.
