The YouTube Redirect Remover is a lightweight userscript that eliminates the annoying "Are you sure you want to leave YouTube?" confirmation page when clicking external links on YouTube. With this script, external links are redirected seamlessly.

How It Works

When you click on an external link on YouTube that normally displays a redirect confirmation page, this script:

  1. Extracts the actual URL from the ?q= parameter in the YouTube redirect URL.
  2. Decodes the URL.
  3. Automatically navigates to the decoded URL, and the intended destination.
