This is a companion script to itemdb's itemdb - Safety Deposit Box Pricer script, and will not work if that script isn't already installed.
This script will remember the price of an item in your SDB, as displayed by that plugin, the first time it encounters that item in your SDB. It will then display that original price, as well as the change in price, from then on.
So, for example, say you have a stamp that's currently priced at 2,000,000 NP, and you can't remember if it was originally worth 200,000 NP or 20,000,000 NP. This script will tell you, and tell you how much the price has increased or decreased.
Limitations:
- The script only tracks the price of items it has actually seen. So when the script is first installed, it's recommended you load up every page of your SDB to save all initial prices. When items are added to your SDB in the future after that, they will also have to be viewed in the SDB before their prices are saved.
- When items are removed from your SDB entirely, their pricing information is not forgotten by the script, so if those items are later re-added to your SDB, they will still display the original price from the very first time the script encountered them, rather than the new initial price. As a workaround to this, you can right click on the information added by this script, and a custom context menu offers you the option to reset the price of a specific item.
