This script adds a powerful, low-overhead filtering system to old.reddit.com. It lets you permanently hide or highlight posts based on subreddit, username, or title text using exact matches or regex patterns. All rules are stored persistently and apply instantly to newly loaded posts without reloading the page.
Filtering works in two modes:
Filters Enabled: matching posts are fully hidden.
Filters Disabled: matching posts remain visible but are color-coded to show which rule triggered.
The script uses lightweight caching and a minimal mutation observer for very low CPU impact even on infinite scroll pages.
