Awesome. Finally found a script/extension that starts the videos unmuted by default. Found another extension that sort of worked, but it waited until everything was loaded, and the video already played once, so not so useful.
The volume thing was bothering me too, that's why I grabbed the original script and fixed that part plus the addition of being able to let the video play even if you leave to another tab.
